Fjellsport manages around 20,000 products across Fjellsport.no and Skitt Fiske. Reprice already supported the team’s competitive pricing, but campaign planning still depended on a Google Sheet with thousands of rows and data collected from several systems.
By bringing campaign planning into Reprice, Fjellsport gave its purchasers one place to review stock, sales, pricing history and competitor activity before deciding what each product needs next.
Until June 2025, Fjellsport planned its discount campaigns in Google Sheets.
The team gathered product, stock and sales information from several places and added it to a spreadsheet with thousands of rows. As the file grew, it became harder to manage and almost impossible to use for long-term planning.
The team could focus on the next campaign and perhaps the one after that. Anything further ahead remained uncertain, so campaign planning was often reactive.
That was a serious limitation for an outdoor retailer.
Fjellsport buys many products six to twelve months before the season starts. If the team buys too much of one category or runs out of another, it cannot always reorder in time.
Campaign planning therefore needs to account for more than the next promotion. Purchasers must consider what is in stock, what is arriving, when demand is likely to change and how products should be spread across the season.
The spreadsheet did not give them a clear enough view to do that.
Fjellsport and Skitt Fiske had already used Reprice for competitive pricing for some time.
The team could review competitor prices and manage everyday pricing in Reprice. But discount campaigns still lived in Google Sheets, separate from the data used to make pricing decisions.
This left Fjellsport with two workflows:
The problem was not simply that the spreadsheet took time. It was that the team could not easily use the same stock, sales and market information across both types of pricing work.
When Reprice introduced campaign management, Fjellsport could bring the two workflows together.
For Marianne, the value was not one individual feature. It was having the information and the action in the same place.
We’ve worked with a lot of systems where we needed to check one place and then put the information somewhere else. Here, A and B are in the same place.

Reprice was no longer only a tool for changing prices. It also gave the team a working view of its products, stock, sales, campaigns and market position.
Fjellsport now manages its products, competitive pricing and campaign planning in Reprice.
Most products remain at their everyday price. Selected products move into competitive pricing or a campaign when the team decides they need a different approach.
That decision might depend on:
The team can review this information together instead of collecting it again for each campaign.
For example, if sales suddenly fall, Marianne can look at the product’s pricing history and competitor activity. The team can see whether Fjellsport’s price changed, a competitor reduced its price or another issue affected demand.
That helps the team choose a specific response.
It might change the price, move the product into a campaign or leave it alone rather than discounting without knowing why sales changed.
Reprice also helps the team plan and react at the same time. Fjellsport can prepare campaigns further ahead, while alerts and current sales data help purchasers respond when customer demand changes.
A shared link lets colleagues in purchasing, marketing and customer service open the same filtered product view. They no longer have to compare different reports or work from separate versions of a spreadsheet.
Product images also make a practical difference across such a large assortment. Purchasers can quickly distinguish between similar products and variants without relying only on product names or codes.

Fjellsport has not reduced every task to fewer clicks.
Entering an individual campaign price can take longer in Reprice than it did with keyboard shortcuts, formulas and copy-and-paste in Google Sheets.
But that comparison misses what changed.
The spreadsheet made individual entries fast. It did not help the team understand what to include, how far ahead to plan or why a product’s performance had changed.
Reprice gives Fjellsport more context before each decision.
The team is no longer limited to the next campaign. It can plan further ahead and adjust the product mix as stock, sales and seasonal demand change.
Purchasers can review stock, sales, competitor prices and pricing history before choosing the next action.
When sales change, Fjellsport can investigate why. The answer may be a price problem, competitor activity, stock availability or a shift in customer demand.
Purchasing, marketing and customer service can share the same filtered information instead of comparing separate reports.
The team spends more time choosing the right categories, products, prices and timing, and less time managing a spreadsheet that limits what it can see.

In some ways, it’s not time-saving. But the overall quality is incredibly much better.
