Apotera manages more than 20,000 products in one of Norway’s most competitive retail categories.
The company already used Reprice for competitive pricing and discount campaigns, while Ongoing WMS managed stock and warehouse operations. But the two systems worked separately, leaving the team to connect pricing and inventory information manually.
By integrating Reprice with Ongoing WMS, Apotera brought stock and sales data directly into its pricing workflow. The team now has a clearer view of what is selling, what remains in stock and where prices may need to change, while saving an estimated 5–10 hours of manual work each week.
Apotera has grown quickly, serving more than 600,000 customers across an assortment of over 20,000 products.
Reprice already helped the team monitor competitor prices, manage discount campaigns and protect margins. Ongoing WMS handled warehouse operations, including stock, receiving and returns. Each system supported an important part of the business, but the information remained separate. The pricing team could see what competitors were charging. The warehouse system showed what Apotera actually had available and how products were moving.
Bringing those two views together still required manual work. As the assortment grew, that separation became harder to manage.
A competitor’s price is only one part of a pricing decision.
Apotera also needs to know:
Before the integration, much of that operational information lived in Ongoing WMS rather than in the system where prices were reviewed and changed.
Apotera did not need another all-purpose platform. It wanted Reprice and Ongoing WMS to continue doing the jobs they were built for, while sharing the information needed for better pricing decisions.
We wanted systems that are both specialized and flexible—and that work well together. The combination of Reprice and Ongoing gives us exactly that.
— Kristian Malm, COO, Apotera
Reprice was integrated with Ongoing WMS so stock and sales information could flow into the pricing workflow automatically. This removed the need to compare information between systems or recreate it manually before reviewing prices.
Apotera can now consider warehouse information alongside competitor prices, costs, margins and campaign activity in Reprice.
That gives the team a more complete picture of each product. A product with high stock and slow sales may need a different approach from one that is selling quickly or running low. A competitor’s price reduction may require action on one product but not another, depending on stock, sales and margin.
Connecting the systems helps Apotera make those distinctions without moving information between separate files and reports.
By linking pricing with inventory, we can continuously optimize prices so that our customers always get the lowest and most competitive prices.
— Kristian Malm, COO, Apotera

The integration did not replace the systems Apotera already relied on. It made them work as part of the same pricing process.
Apotera estimates that the connected workflow removes 5–10 hours of manual work every week.
The team can consider stock and sales alongside competitor prices and margins instead of reviewing market data in isolation.
Information flows from Ongoing WMS into Reprice without the team having to rebuild or compare it manually.
Reprice continues to manage pricing and campaigns, while Ongoing WMS remains responsible for warehouse operations.
The connected workflow helps Apotera manage pricing across more than 20,000 products without manual work increasing at the same rate.

We use Reprice to monitor the market, manage campaigns and protect our margins. It has freed up both time and capacity.
— Kristian Malm, Co-Founder & COO, Apotera
